    Easy Weekend Read

As this novel is book 2, the reader gets a chance to reconnect with characters from the previous novel, and to experience how their lives become entwined with those from book 2. However, this can be read as a stand alone novel, so do not be put off by the fact this is a part of a trilogy. \\r\\n\\r\\nI enjoyed this novel. It centres on a young woman struggling to find her self worth due to a birthmark on her face. The author delves into what makes a person ugly not just in obvious ways like the physical appearance, but about the heart. Several characters show their ugliness of heart within this novel, and the truth of Gods Word is expressed well to show us that we all have some form of ugliness inside and how we can be redeemded from that. \\r\\n\\r\\nAn excellent weekend read with a bit of depth to it. For fans of Amish fiction.
