    Okay, but Pushing a Model

In this work, rather than seeing conflict between the Great Commission and Great Commandment, the authors see harmony between the two. In Chapter 1 the authors explain several misconceptions as to what evangelism and worship are. Chapter 2 starts by exploring the understanding of praise, worship, Old to New Testament worship and specific practices of worship. Chapter 3 begins with highlighting major influences on how we perceive biblical mandates and that Great Commission worship is formational, missional, relational, reproducible and transformational. Chapter 4 explores the principle of formational worship through life of the prophet Jeremiah. Chapter 5, the ministries of Ezekiel, Isaiah and Paul reveal that obedience is the heart of transformational worship. In Chapters 6 and 7, the authors state that God delights in, nurtures and reveals Himself through a vertical relationship, while horizontal relationships are highlighted in family, believers and unbelievers. Chapter 8 highlights the missional nature of Great Commission worship. In Chapters 9, 10 and 11, the reproducible nature of worship and the characteristics and processes needed to ensure this and suggested models in order to establish this within the church. Lastly, Chapter 12, explores biblical results. This is a okay book, but feels more like a classroom work pushing a model then letting the Scriptures naturally speak for themselves. More overlay with other doctrines, would also have helped in their arguments.
