Excellent!!
This is a great introductory into the Hagenheim series and I have loved every one of the books from the moment I first started reading. In this book we learn about Rose, who has grown up in a poor woodcutters family feeling unloved by her mother. Wanting to watch over her, the healer takes her under her wing to allow her to learn a trade and maybe avoid her from being forced into marriage. However, things are not always as they seem. There is a very real presence of evil and danger, but God will prevail in the end. I highly recommend reading!

Great book
This book was a retelling of sleeping beauty that was absolutely perfect for me. It suited me taste and preference in books perfectly. The font size, quality and text type was good and I really enjoyed the way this author incorporated God. I really liked this book and fell in love with the whole storyline and characters. I would recommend this book to teenage girls because I think this book would be an especially enjoyable read for most teenage girls whether they are Christian or not but of course anyone could enjoy this book. I'd actually be surprised if anybody didn't enjoy it!

A Must Read!
The Healers Apprentice is AMAZING. I just could not put it down! If you are looking for a teen/young adult romance fiction, this is definitely one you should try. \\nA first I was hesitant to buy it because I was not a big fan of historical books, but I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK. Not only do I love the story, but I also all the Bible references and how the author (Melanie Dickerson) wove God into each character's lives. The book itself was lightweight and I liked how it was paperback instead of hard back (but that is according to your own preference) and the text was not too small. \\nThis book is absolutely worth it and I'd be happy to read it again and again!

Fairy Tale Bliss
I loved this retelling of the sleeping beauty fairy tale. As someone who loves happily-ever-afters, I can appreciate the author's staying true to the original while still weaving in elements of her own to suit the time period of medieval Germany. My first read by this author, though certainly not my last.
