I enjoyed this final novel in Tricia Goyer's Seven Brides for Seven Bachelors series more than the others, possibly because much of it took place in just one week, so things moved quicker than they do in many Amish-themed novels. There was plenty of backstory involved in Rebecca and Caleb's story though, so the characters were well developed and I felt invested in their outcomes. This story is completely separate from others in the series, and can be enjoyed without reading the others. As with most books in the Amish genre, this one offers a calm and gentle read, with romance, a beautiful natural setting, and many things to inspire the faith of the reader. I recommend it to all lover of Amish romance fiction.
