When he ships out to train in England for D-day, their letters bind them together over the distance. But can a love strong enough to overcome death grow between them before Clay's recurring dream comes true?

    nice ending to series

The Land Beneath Us was another great read by Sarah Sundin. This one had a bit of a different tone to the previous two books in this series, but that also made for a unique story on its own. As always very well written, would recommend if you've read the previous two books in the series.

One of the Author's Best Books

The third """"Sunrise at Normandy"""" novel is even better than its two already fantastic predecessors. The novel successfully weaves action, faith and romance into an un-put-downable story. I particularly enjoyed how the author has incorporated the biblical accounts of Joseph, Leah and the prodigal son's elder brother into the development of the characters. I was also pleased that the author chose to depict the male character as an enlisted soldier, especially since most of her previous novels featured characters of officer ranks. I recommend this book to readers familiar with the other """"Sunrise at Normandy"""" books, but the book also works well as a stand-alone story. If you enjoy Sarah Sundin's stories, or WWII fiction, then this book is ideal for you.

    Gripping

Wow! This story intertwines the history of D-day with the biblical story of Joseph. I am not a lover of books set during the war but I was unable to put this one down. It is so full of grace and shows the difficulty and power of forgiveness. It is part of a series but it can be read as a stand alone book.
