The Merchant's Daughter (#02 in Hagenheim - My Fairy Tale Romance Series)$18.99
This book holds a bit of a beauty and the beast scenario. Lord Ranulf is the new lord everyone is scared of, including Annabel, who has the unfortunate circumstance of practically falling into his arms on his first day in the village. Annabel has been forced into servitude by her lazy family who, once wealthy, could no longer afford to pay their taxes, and refused to do the required work in order to not pay the fee. Annabel must either marry a horrible man who can pay what the family owes, or complete the required indenture to free her family from debt. Unable to bear the thought of marrying a despicable man much older than her, she flees to the castle to serve Lord Ranulf as his indentured servant. While serving him she finds rumours and gossip are just that, and Ranulf is much more than he appears.

You Need to Read This!
I cannot express how amazing this book was! I just. . . LOVED IT. It was absolutely exceptional and breathtakingly awesome. It was jam packed with action and romance. If you enjoy reading books that include both adventure and tales of love then this is for you! Most of all, I love how God was so interwoven through out this book. Although it is a fiction romance tale, I have never read something that quite expresses God's grace and mercy than in this story of Annabelle and Ranulf. (Oops, a bit of a spoiler!) \\nNow on to what I thought of the physical features of this book. I love that this has a flexible, soft cover and the paper quality is very good and text is easy to read. It is also light and relatively small, so it can fit into a regular sized backpack and carried around. If you do intend on travelling with the book I do suggest to get a plastic cover or handle it with care as the cover is foldable and can get creases!\\nAnyways, overall quality of both the physical book and content are SENSATIONAL. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is from teens to young adults or even kids from 7-11. The content is very appropriate and sensible, which makes it a perfect option for categories above. \\nPLEASE BUY THIS BOOK and bless your eyes!

Engaging every single time!
I have read this book more than three times, and I've been engrossed by this charming story every single time! Beauty is a curse. . . A beautiful maiden thrust into unwanted circumstances. A gentle, tormented man. Beastly? Cursed? Some wonder. . . but will the wondering turn into something much more dangerous and sinister? Loved how God worked through them and in them; letting them love once again. Dickerson has again done a wonderful job with this sweet romance!

Annabelle = Beauty, Ranulf = Beast
When Annabelle Chapman's family are in debt, Annabelle has two choices. She has to either repay Lord Ranulf for the amount of work her family did not do by being a servant for three years without payment, or marry the old, ugly, Baliff Tom. Can you guess the option she picked? Yes, she would rather be a servant. As she works she meets Lord Ranulf, at first he is mean and rude but soon Lord Ranulf's attitude changes as he spends more time with the kind, gentle girl. But will he care for her enough to risk his life to save her when she is in danger?
