    wonderful

Another perfect novel from Sarah Sundin. The endearing characters, the brought-to-life setting, gripping plot - I could hardly put this down! I absolutely loved the characters of Adler and Violet - how humanly flawed and broken they were, and their mirrored stories of conversion and faith. I especially enjoyed how the faith aspect did not seem just like an add-on to the plot, but was intertwined into each part of the story. I'm just annoyed that I have to wait until 2020 for the next book in this series!!
