Although busier than your average Amish novel, with lots of characters, several key locations, and plenty of action, I still found 'The Sound of Sleigh Bells' to be an easy holiday read. Christmas is a busy time for many of us, but I found I could pick up this story and read on after a long break of Christmas activity and follow along easily. The quieter pace of Amish life helped slow me down, and the plain approach to Christmas allowed me to focus on the true meaning of the season. I'll definitely be reading the others in the series, maybe next Christmas.

Sweet Story
This story involves a meddling aunt, wanting to match her reluctant niece with a young man from another district. A mistaken identity and complicated confusion results from this act. \\r\\nAlthough it was a predictable story, I enjoyed the novel. Listening to the audiobook version was excellent. The narrator pulled me into the story and kept the characters interesting. I recommend it as a relaxing weekend read.
