Great Easter book for young kids

Simple and colourful artwork. \\r\\nA couple of lines of rhyming text to each double-page, which highlights key Easter messages. \\r\\nNice book with the addition of the handle and small-ish size, make it easy for toddlers to carry!

    Fun and faithful

This is a great kids book teaching the main truths of easter with cute pictures and a nice rhyming verse. \\r\\nOur 7 month old enjoys this, and its solid enough for the little ones!

    Great for Littlies

This is a great Easter book for the littlies. I love the handle that allows kids to carry it around easily. It was a bit smaller than I expected (approx. 13cmx16cm) but I think that is probably a good thing as a smaller book is easier to carry around. The cover is padded and the pages are cardboard so it is fairly sturdy. It has really cute illustrations and with only a few sentences on each page, won't loose your child's attention. The text rhymes too which is fun. It includes Easter events such as Jesus arriving on a donkey, the last supper, praying in Gethsemane, Jesus being arrested and questioned, the crucifixion, burial and resurrection. It also started with who Jesus is and ends with the hope we have because of Jesus. Overall it is a great book to introduce Easter and I highly recommend it.

    Wouldnt recommend

I purchased this book online without reading through it first. \\r\\nWhile the illustrations are adorable, and it does go through the last supper, Jesus' death and resurrection, no where does it mention that Jesus is the Son of God, or Christ, or our Saviour. \\r\\nThe very first page says """"Jesus of Nazareth was the friend of many. He told great stories. """" \\r\\nI found it disappointing to not have it made clear who Jesus is. God is not mentioned anywhere in this book. I feel like this book misses the mark. I would recommend choosing a different children's book for Easter.

    Good book for Easter

The pictures are nice and the book talks about the story of Easter for children. It is a board book and language is perhaps for older toddlers and pre-school children. Good book.
