To Everything a Season (#01 in Song Of Blessing Series)

I liked that this story is set in the pioneer era of a small community town. This story will capture your heart as you read about the lives of the many families living in Blessing. You will encounter the many struggles and blessings these families encounter while living in a small community. The characters are very detailed and after a few chapters I got to know more of who belonged to which family. This story is engaging and inspirational with some drama and tragedy. The romance between Miriam and Trygve only emerges near the end of the story, so I am looking forward to reading how this romance will evolve in Book 2. It is wonderfully written and keeps the reader interested and engaged throughout the story. It was a pleasure to read.

This story is a journey of God's love for his people through their faith in him during times of needing guidance and help. Set in a small farming town named Blessing which started with immigrants from Norway. It is self sufficient having two female doctors and a small hospital and a school for the deaf. They are building a boarding house because the town is growing. A very good story, enjoyed every part.

I have read all of the Red River North series and Songs of Blessing series and know and love these characters well. Even though their environment is different, their way of life different, in fact none of their hardships and life can I really identify with except. . . . . the people. They remind me of how life was when I was a little girl back in the fifties. Going to Church picnics, church lunches, playing with all the other children. The way the people were so gentle with each other even if someone was a little difficult. It's a very captivating book, pleasant to read and the characters so engaging. I feel I've known them all my life!!!! Wonderful books. . . . . all of them. . . . .
