Encouraging and informative !
The historical evidence of past revivals, which Des has researched so thoroughly, points to great hope for the church in the Western world. Although times are dark at present, this book chronicles other times of great darkness; times when God has chosen to move in mighty redemptive power. Des’s wide pastoral experience, coupled with a deep understanding of the Word of God, provides a solid foundation for confidence in the Lord’s everlasting faithfulness. A great book for anyone seeking the way ahead in today’s increasingly post-Christian society.
