Good movie
Several challenging moments as he works to overcome a terrible start. We had no idea who Josh McDowell is, but he has clearly come through huge obstacles and is committed to serving God and obeying Him with all he is. A crossover between a movie and a documentary.

Enlightening
This is very well done with today's Josh telling the story of his formative years, which is acted out by the people in his life. He is amazingly honest which makes it a really powerful testimony. The acting is excellent and the representation of just what he endured and how God changed his life and then lives of those around him is really powerfully portrayed. Excellent viewing for anyone, saved or not, as the message of redemption and change brought on by Christ in a person's life is top quality. I had no idea of Josh's early life and so this was both an eye opener and a testament to the power of God. It is a very sincere documentary with the power to change anyone who watches. Recommended viewing.

amazing
What an amazing man Josh McDowell is. this dvd is an excellent watch for everyone and a great tool to share with people, especially those connected with abusive situations. I just love how Josh set out to prove that Jesus was a lie and his journey revealed the real truth and changed his life. He is an amazing example of how God's love can work in our lives and touch those around us. 'talk about turning your sorrows into joy' - he is a living example of this. Well worth the watch.
