I really enjoyed this book. The slow pace of the story made it feel as I if I was really there, living alongside the characters. This is definately not a stand alone novel - the ending leaves more questions than answers, and I was desperate to read the next book to find out what happens to Cassie and co. If you enjoyed Lauraine Snelling's 'Blessing' books, you will enjoy this new series.
