    Excellent parenting resource

I found this to be a refreshing book, giving a different view of parenting. Rick Osborne looks at many Bible parents and how their actions/attitudes likely affected their children. Many of my big Bible heroes did NOT raise godly children. Rick Osborne looks at some of the possibilities as to why that happened and how we can learn from their mistakes rather than make them ourselves. \\r\\nWhat was it that made some of the people in the Bible love God above all else? Again we get great insights into what some of the parents did right. \\r\\nBest of all is Rick's explanation of leading a child to a personal relationship with God. Transitioning from wholly leading your child, to letting go of one hand and letting them hold God's with the other to letting your child go it alone.
