An Helpful Guide on Which Bible Translation to Use
We are blessed today with many translations and versions of the Bible. Yet for some Christians, the varieties of Bible versions and translations available can be bewildering. In this helpful book, four contemporary popular versions of the Bible are examined by authors who have been involved in their translation: the English Standard Version, the Holman Christian Standard Bible, the New International Version, and New Living Translation. Introduction to each version of the Bible is then followed by an examination of sixteen biblical passages which discusses translation and textual issues involved in the translation. This provides the reader with an understanding of why different translations render the sixteen passages in different ways. This is a helpful book which ought to be read by every Christian.
