With All Your Heart: Living Joyfully Through Allegiance to King Jesus

I would recommend this book for anyone out there who just feels unsatisfied with their life in general at the moment. I loved how this book focused on the word 'allegiance' and what it is that we have as king in our lives. It highlighted so well to me the areas of my life where I wasn't truly honouring God with my time and I wasn't being intentional with what I was letting my mind focus on and consume. God deserves all of the glory, not us, and this book really helped me to be reminded of that.

With All Your Heart' is convicting and heart-searching, in the very best way. The book begins by exploring the idea that we often have misplaced allegiances, to self or things of this world rather than to Christ and then goes on to look at a number of these idols we are prone to serving in more detail - be that control, approval or lesser talked about idols such as escapism or isolation. Christine explores why we turn to these things at a deeper heart level and how the truth of Scripture can turn our hearts back to Christ. \\nThis book manages to be both convicting whilst being relatable, humble and encouraging at the same time. It is grace-saturated and provides many practical applications for deep heart change. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and found it valuable for growth in me relationship of God and seeking to grow closer to him and become more like Christ - highly recommend for women of any age!
