Wonderfully Made (Handbook)

This handbook goes alongside a DVD, and is a 7-session evangelistic course particularly designed for playgroup ministry. There is some promotional material on The Good Book Company's website which will help you decide whether this is the course for you, and with different ideas for how to use it (e. g. after playgroup, during playgroup, at a different time of the week, etc). I ran this course at a day time ladies Bible study group and invited playgroup mums along and we found that it worked really well. It was very non-threatening, but the gospel was presented clearly through the DVDs. Some good things to know - the DVD sessions only go for 5 minutes, and the rest of the course is just discussion time (with 3 or 4 questions provided each week). Also, it seems to be marketed as a parenting course, but really it's much more like a parenting support group (as there is no Professional giving advice, but more just the combined wisdom of the group). The workbook itself is good. It's probably not entirely necessary to have workbooks for everyone if you had to save money, but there are Bible passages in there with simple questions (for further reading), so I think getting the Bible into people's hands in this accessible way is definitely worth the cost.
