An exciting question and answer-based book for independent readers, exploring key questions asked by children about science-faith interactions. The 'handbook' style is intended to encourage readers to dip in and out of the different chapters rather than reading through. Answers contributed by world-class knowledgeable scientists and theologians will be presented in a clear, engaging and open-ended style. Features include personal input from the authors in 'meet the scientist' sections, exploring what it means to be a wholehearted person of faith and a talented, passionate scientist as well as fun, hands-on experiments that are safe to try at home. Additional material provides information about the Faraday Institute and the website being set up www.faradaykids.com and www.faradayeducators.com; and includes information about Science and the Bible for parents, who want to understand a little more of Faraday's approach and opens up discussion; and directs them to the website to explore further.

    HORRIFIED!

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS TO CHILDREN. . . . READ IT FIRST TO BE SURE. . . I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO TEAR IT UP AND THROW IN BIN!\\nUnfortunately I had already written a note in the front of the book, ready to give it to my grand-daughter. \\nThankfully I decided to read a few of the questions and answers before wrapping it and I'm SOOO glad I did. . . . \\nThe 'answers' are full of the lies that they are teaching children in state schools. . . Big Bang. . . Billions of years. . . . Billions of years to come. . . . Evolution. . . . \\nThat's as far as I got. \\nI though I could confidently just wrap and give a book from Koorong to the kids and I'm very disappointed that this got through to the shelves. \\nI'll make sure I proof read anything I buy in future.
