A Dangerous Engagement (#03 in The Regency Spies Of London Series)

It was fun to step into the Regency Era through the pages of this engaging novel. The plot was gripping, with its themes of spies and planned revolution. My complaint is that the Christian theme was very understated - the main characters prayed a few times, but that was about it.

Melanie Dickerson is my new favourite author!! This book is exceptionally well written. The plot is believable and suspenseful all the way through. In terms of Regency era novels, this has to be the best by far. This was a great conclusion to the trilogy. I really hope Melanie will write another Regency era series.

Once again the cover art on these books is just awesome, I love how they combine photos with fake backgrounds so that the blend almost seamlessly. \\r\\n""""A Dangerous Engagement"""" was another good read by Melanie Dickerson, even though I loved this story I think I prefer the first two in the series more. \\r\\nIt had a really interesting plot, and I would definitely recommend reading!

While this wasn't my favourite book of this series, it was a really well-written story which had me captivated from the first page to the last. Philip and Felicity make a good team and it was fun, albeit totally nerve-wracking, watching them work together to find and make known the truth - without getting themselves killed in the process. It bordered a bit more on thriller than I was expecting in a romance so keep that in mind if you're not a big suspensethriller fan. \\r\\n
