the 3rd in a series
I think I may have enjoyed this more if I had read the first 2 books. As I didn't have more back ground on everyone I wasn't as invested in the characters. It was a bit unbelievable to have characters take 3 or 4 years to figure out they liked each other. I did like the multifaceted issues in the case. The whole awkward lie could have been omitted and not changed the story, I think that would have been better. There were some faith elements in a believable context which was nice.
