    Never to Miss

I am deeply grateful that this book was published and is still available today. A lot of Christians claim to know God but do not know who He really is. This book explains about what kind of god is the God of the bible, and just a caution, this book will make you a """"big-Godder"""" believer.

    Foundational reading to doctrine

A solid book. The style is typical Puritan style listing the points, objections and uses. \\nThere were many powerful sentences. \\n\\nI would say one of the strengths is the practical and pastoral aspect as doctrine is discussed. For example, it answers questions like """"how do I know I have ____?"""". \\n\\nOne thing to note is that this only goes through a part of the Westminster Shorter Catechism. From the beginning, I had thought it might go through the whole lot (which in hindsight would be tough considering the length of the book and the detail that was put into the questions). \\n\\nEdit: you also get good practice in reading Roman numerals. Also remember the use the word """"want"""" means """"lack of"""" otherwise you will be quite confused.

    Exposition of the Westminster Catechism

Thomas Watson's work provides a wealth of wisdom in truly and deeply understanding the fundamental doctrines of the Bible and Christian faith. The work is a compilation of sermon's prepared on the Westminster Catechism and is rooted in the richness of puritan reformed theology. Watson asks, and subsequently answers, questions which help the reader deeply understand the nature of God, the condition of man, the works of Christ, the application of redemption and man's death and resurrection. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe book is set out in short sections and chapters, making it easy to read in portions, and perhaps even used as a devotional, for there is a rich wealth of wisdom to be meditated upon in almost every sentence. \\r\\n\\r\\nI highly recommend this book to all Christians, for it will deeply root you in your faith and deepen your understanding of our heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ. Through Watson's compilation of works, it is evident this Puritan had been bestowed with deep wisdom and insight from Lord, through which he came to know the depth of riches of His Word and Being. And through his works, we too can come to know the richness of the Lord through his sound Scriptural exegesis. This work is one which can never be exhausted ,and is one of the leading Puritan and Banner of Truth Trust books to have been published.
