Endowed with superior powers of perception after a freak accident, Drew Carter has started to observe fierce invaders that no one else can see. Is he going mad? Drew is caught in a world of light - just inches away from the dark
What if...there was a world beyond our vision, a world just fingertips beyond our reach? What if...our world wasn't beyond their influence?
Tragedy and heartache seem to be waiting for Drew Carter at every turn, but college offers Drew a chance to start over--until an accident during a physics experiment leaves him blind and his genius friend, Benjamin Berg, missing.
As his sight miraculously returns, Drew discovers that the accident has heightened his neuron activity, giving him skills and sight beyond the normal man. When he begins to observe fierce invaders that no one else can see, he questions his own sanity, and so do others. But is he insane or do the invaders truly exist?
With help from Sydney Carlyle, a mysterious and elusive girl who offers encouragement through her faith, Drew searches for his missing friend, Ben, who seems to hold the key to unlocking this mystery. As the dark invaders close in, will he find the truth in time?

Cloak of the Light (#01 in Wars Of The Realm Series)$19.99
After reading two of Chuck Black's other series aloud to our children, I started reading Cloak of the Light myself to see if it was suitable for the tribe, and was very impressed! It's aimed at teens, but I found it totally captivating and ended up reading the whole series (often neglecting housework to do so!). \\r\\nCloak of the Light, though fictional, contains characters who are relatable and well developed throughout the novel. If you're looking for a series that is suitable for teensyoung adults, is clean and is action packed and very well written, definitely try this one out.

THE BEST Science-Fictiony Book I have ever read!
I have loved Chuck Black books for years now! I have read all of the Kingdom Series books as well as the Knights of Arethtrae (Sorry if I spelt that wrong :D) books, the 'First book in the War of the Realms books was EVEN BETTER than the others!\\r\\n\\r\\nI am an Avid reader but do not usually read science-fiction type books, Even though I knew Chuck Black was such a great writer, I was ever so slightly sceptical about if I would enjoy it or not. . . I was SOOO wrong, I loved this book and have just finished reading it for a second time!\\r\\n\\r\\n'Cloak of the Light' was written so well, I seriously wish someone would make a movie! It would be great! \\r\\n\\r\\nAll up:\\r\\n\\r\\nGreat book can't wait for the second one (I'm gonna buy it as soon as I can get my hands on it! ;D)\\r\\nThanks Chuck Black for your great books!
