I enjoyed this romantic suspense novel. The main heroine has guilt and shame leaking from her past but she has a good heart and does what she can to protect her family at great personal risk. The hero of the story is protective, caring and practical. There are flickers of his own growth too. I like that the """"bad guy"""" was not super obvious. The technical jargon was a bit much for me but probably makes it more realistic for those with that knowledge. The side plot twist at the end was interesting and hopefully will show up in the next book if there is one.
