Mahlburg provides a detailed overview of competing worldviews and how the Christian biblical worldview addresses or even provides a better worldview. Someone familiar with the current issues in society may find some crossover with other resources. I found parts of the book overly detailed and perhaps longer than needed. It's a great book and anyone - young or old - wanting to better understand culture and Christianity's place will benefit from reading this book.

Kurt gives us a powerful overview of the centuries and how the love of Jesus has inspired people on every continent to people with godly love. He balances that with a clear outline of the counter influences of atheism and secular humanism have eroded the faith in our Western culture. we are inspired to go forth and proclaim the love of God because Jesus shows us that God loves us.
