Could be a stand alone
This is the 2nd in a series, but can be read as a stand alone novel. Peterson as crafted some relatable characters, those that are humble and willing to admit wrong. Several characters we actively against God in the beginning of this book, but the struggles and surrender were written in a believable style. I loved the scripture references and the kind heartedness of those in Cheyenne. I look forward to the next in this series.
