This book is a passionate call for this generation to make their lives count for eternity. John Piper acknowledges the risks for those who seek to accomplish something in life - risks in relationships for the sake of righteousness and authenticity, risks with money for the cause of the gospel, and risks in witnessing to the truth and beauty of Christ. Readers will find their passion for the cross of Christ enlarged as a result of reading this book.

But Jesus said, "Whoever loses his life for my sake will save it," pointing to the eternal purpose and God-exalting life to which all Christians are called. In this best-selling book, John Piper passionately warns readers of the dangers of an irrelevant life that counts for nothing, calling Christians to take risks that matter for eternity-with a joyful passion for the glory of God that seeks to make much of him in everything. Must Read

A nice edition of this book that has challenged and inspired many. I purchased it for my younger sister to motivate and enthuse her in the things of God. There is no one better than John Piper to encourage and passionately motivate Christians in their spiritual walk. It is easy to read and will leave its mark on those who are langishing in their faith. I sincerely hope this is the impact the book will have and pray towards this end.

    Great Book

Piper's """"Don't Waste Your Life"""" is a call for Christians to not merely consider Christianity a personal faith but to actually apply Christ centered principles to your life in which to advance God's kingdom. \\r\\n\\r\\nFor too long I had """"worked out my own faith with fear and trembling"""" with occasional evangelism opportunities but despite never forsaking the LORD I can't say that I was very useful in advancing God's kingdom. \\r\\n\\r\\nPiper attempts to show in a very easy and engaging read how Christians can and should """"be a light to the nations"""" and this ranges from simply displaying Christlikeness in your secular job to the extreme example of becoming a missionary (should one be called to do so). \\r\\n\\r\\nI wholeheartedly recommend this book, it's both a wake up call and an encouragement one can refer back to from time to time when we feel the salt has """"lost its savor"""". \\r\\n\\r\\nRecommended - Don't Waste Your Life.

    Motivating

This book is easy to read and gives a great 'big picture' perspective on life. It challenged me to think beyond the here and now and look to what matters in Eternity. It inspires us to store up treasure in heaven not things on earth. We can get side tracked on earth keeping up with the Jones' with out jobs, kids, homes, etc, but we should think about things that last
