My daughter is in love with these books. I bought this 2nd book for her 11th birthday and despite the length of it (which I don't mind paying the price as it's over 500 words) she has read it twice in a few months whilst reading-reading the 1st book again. \\r\\nShe lives the characters so much, they are so relatable I'm surprised at how much she has learnt not only of Biblical stories but the depth, meaning, emotions that Joseph his brothers would have felt. \\r\\nI cannot recommend these books highly enough. The Author obviously is gifted by God to bring the Word alive to young children in such an enjoyable way that will help to build a foundation in their young hearts. It gives me such joy to see the passion and excitement my daughter has for this series and how she prefers to read them than watch tv or look at her iPad.

High adventure for older kids and tweens (8)
My son began reading this series on his 9th birthday, and he is completely hooked. He has begged me to buy the whole series and could hardly wait for the books to come in the post. . . The animals in the books interact with the characters in Bible happenings, so he is learning a lot about the Bible, and we talk about things which lead to surprisingly deep discussions about evil, biblical characters, the Holy Spirit etc. The Bible stories are embellished, so it may be necessary to re-read the actual stories together to see what the Bible does say, but one good thing the books do: they make the Bible come alive for kids with a lively imagination. For me, these books are perfect for the age group 8-12 when many of the books they are confronted with in the town library are filled with occult, and other undesirable themes.
