For the Sake of the World CD & DVD

Good clear, clean sounding worship that encourages one to engage with God. Some songs that I have heard in a couple of churches' worship before, like """"Our Father"""" and the title track, even in more recent times at the time of writing. The spontaneous songs and the sung prophetic declarations dispersed in some songs are a good word too. """"This Is What You Do"""" is my favorite track, I liked it from when I first heard it on the radio. I also recommend """"Tides Live"""" by Bethel Music.

Bethel has presented a beautiful, innovative and inspiring album,""""For The Sake Of The World"""". Personally, when I used to listen to worship music, I would restrict myself to only a couple of worship music artists, however, once I heard this album, it has opened my heart to so much more. This album is awesome (full stop). This lyrics and music are filled with passion and the declarations of worship are amazing! Songs that were my highlight of this album are """"Our Father"""",""""You Have Won Me"""" and """"For The Sake Of The World"""". This is a stunner of a worship album, I would suggest this album to anyone! This album has a great place in my heart :)

Bethel have done it again! In this latest offering they have given us some more outstanding worship tracks, as well as a new take on some old favourites. This album is definitely able to pull at the heart strings. Tracks like 'To Our God' and 'For the Sake of the World' raise the heart and mind heavenward with rousing inspiration; while songs like 'Forgiven' and 'Closer', speak of the fragility and personal aspect of intimacy with God. A stand out singer on this album would have to be William Matthews. He has sung on Bethel albums before, but the strength with which he leads songs like 'This is What You Do' and new song 'Freedom' is truly inspiring (as a worship leader but also as a worshiper in general). 'Freedom' is probably my favourite song on the album; it dynamically turns the Sriptural truth into powerful worship: Where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is freedom!\\r\\n\\r\\nThe DVD is similarly inspiring, especially with the spontaneous worship. There is something really honest and raw about Jenn Johnson, as is seen in 'Our Father' and 'I Really Love You (Spontaneous)'. \\r\\n\\r\\nOverall, this CDDVD combination is a fantastic example of cutting edge worship in the Church today and comes highly recommended from this humble worship leader.

caution: if you buy this cd, you should buy tissues too. \\r\\nThis is an amazing cd filled with wonderfully addictive songs! Not only are they infectiously catchy (ie To our God was stuck in my head for days on end. . :) ) they also inspire one to get into the presence of God. Hence the tissues!\\r\\nThis is Amazing Grace is a particular favourite!\\r\\nall i can say is that its a fantastic cd and if you don't have it, you should go out and get it!!\\r\\n
