A great book and well written. I like these series better than the trail blazers because they are not as hard going. . . and more interesting.

A Great Book
I love this story of faith, determination, and trusting in God. It is very well written and good for every age. Whether or not you are interested in missionary stories, this is a great book!

NEVER give up!
The Life of Gladys Aylward cannot fully be described in richness or complexity within a novel of this size. However the authors Janet and Geoff Benge have faithfully tried to communicate to a younger audience the most significant factors that influenced and directed her life. An unshakeable faith in God. A total reliance on His leadership, protection, provision, strength and love. An obedience to His calling and an endless outpouring of love for the Chinese people. While reading this account of Gladys you see the miraculous hand of God on her life and those around her. Her life is inspirational, and it challenges you to seek more fervently God's will for your own life. I recommend this book for anyone, young or old, who wants to know more about the Women of Faith that precede us.
