Though I really enjoy this series, and find them helpful for dealing with a range of tricky topics, this one misses the mark. It was obviously made to help children deal with the craziness of COVID, and encourages them to wear masks and stay away from family to show love!! This book is now pretty obsolete, and also missed the mark for kids who were sick with a broken leg, or cancer or surgery. Can see why they wanted to reassure kids, but didn't prove to be the healthy or loving response, so let's stop brainwashing our kids to pretend it was. Some good things in it, but an unfortunate example to have used. It says it's for 4-7 years, and the images suit this age, but the story is probably more for 6-9 year olds.
