God Made the World (God Made Series)

We read this little book to our 8 months old. The book has strong contrast colours such as black and white, so it captures the baby's attention. It explains the 7 days Creation story in very simple language and pictures. Great for babies and toddlers. Small enough to take it with you and as it's a board book, very durable. Cute illustrations too.

This is an incredibly basic version of the creation story. It has bold illustrations with clear outlines, for example day 1 is a page half white and half black. It is a durable board book, nicely sized for babies and toddlers to hold, and which goes through the seven days of creation, day by day. The prayer on the back finishes the book nicely. Only negative would be that I have purchased a few of these online and the rounded edge at the top wasn't always neatly cut by the publishers. I would definitely recommend purchasing this book.

If you want a simple version of the creation story, here it is. This tiny board book, with its bright, cheery illustrations is a great way to teach young kids about what God created each of the seven days of creation. I also like that it has a short prayer written on the back cover to say with your child when you finish the book. It might be a simple book, but in this instance, that's what makes it so perfect. Highly recommend it for young children.
