    Enjoyable

Although the movie is dated, it is a lovely portrayal of William Tyndale's life and motivates the viewer to read the Bible more regularly, to honour the lives of the people who died to make it available for us to read in English.

    An oldie but a goodie

This film seems to be from the 80s. The production quality is what you will expect to find from many films in that era. The voices are muffled and also hard to hear or comprehend at times. However, it was a great film, and what it lacked in filming quality it made up with a good script, authentic costumes, scenery and characters, and a high quality cast of actors. This was enough for us to look past the less than ideal production quality and put up with the muffled voices at time, to get to the heart of the life and works of William Tyndale. The script was enthralling to us, witty and seemed authentic enough so that we could feel in some degree like we were there with them. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the film - age groups being late teenagers and a married couple. I wouldn't suggest this for young children as they show people being martyred - the burning of people at the stakes is highly suggestive although not graphic and potentially alarming for younger or sensitive children. There is no nudity, or swearing. Violence:suggestive with the martyrs and not graphic.
