A Pastoral Guide to Worship
This book is absolutely wonderful, and I will never understand Christian worship the same after reading it. It is comprehensive, exhausting, and wonderfully practical throughout. It is comprised of 14 sermons by the Puritan Jeremiah Burroughs, drawn from the death of Aaron's 2 sons in Leviticus 10 for their false form of worship, touching on principles on worship generally followed by specific applications regarding listening to Sunday sermons, receiving the Sacrament, and prayer. If anyone desires to pursue Christ in their worship by drawing close to Him, I cannot recommend reading this work more.
