I've loved every minute of my time in Riverbend, immersing myself in the lives of the Robinson family and enjoying the small-town lifestyle. The third book in the series, Harvest Moon, offers a bit of follow-up on Cooper and Katie from Book 1, and Wes and Avery from Book 2, but mostly it's about Gavin, and his ex-wife Laurel. There's a it's-all-been-done-before plot-line, with a split time-line twist to keep it fresh, and the ache of grief and loss we feel on behalf of the characters keeps us reading for the resolution, which comes so gently and beautifully. I enjoyed it so much, I'll read it again and again.
