The whole kingdom had watched her heart break.

The last place Lady Wenderley Davis ever expected to find herself after swearing off princes forever was living in a palace with two of them. Even if it is only temporary. And she did agree to it. Kind of. Against her better judgement.

But then, she's never been one to hide her heart, nor hold back help from anyone who needs it. And if ever there's a family who need help, it's this one.

As two weeks stretch to more, Wenderley throws all she has into showing the princes and their family how to smile again, and she's loving every moment of it. Which is a problem. Because she's very quickly becoming attached, and - as the man she'd rather forget keeps reminding her-the one thing she can't do is stay.

    a lovely story!

Wenderly and Marcos are complete opposites: she is spontaneous and unconventional, while he is serious and formal. Yet the connection between them is palpable from the start: they are perfect for each other - even if it does take them quite a while to realise this! I admire how Hannah Currie doesn't shy away from portraying the challenge and messy-ness that comes from being a Christian in a very broken world, inspiring the reader to remember that God always forgives, no matter what or how many times. As an adult, I'm outside of the 'youth' audience the book was written for, but I think this book easily appeals to both adults and older-teens alike.

    Must read!

I loved this book a lot because it really appealed to me as a Christian teenage girl. It had a Christian theme and message and was had both an exciting plot very satisfying ending. I won't spoil what makes the story (especially the ending) so enjoyable but I could rant about Wenderley's amazing journey in this book for ages! Overall, this book was exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend this book to anyone who would be interested in a book that has everything that is key in a good young adult novel such as a loveable, slightly relatable protagonist and epic storyline.

    Brilliant end to the series

This is such a beautiful story of accepting grace and forgiving yourself. This third book in the Daughters of Peverell series is not just Wenderley's story but also ties up the story of the lives of some people fron the first two books, no spoilers but you will be verry satisfied with the end of this series. I loved Wenderley's character. She is so full of energy, colour and a passion for life. She loves others with her whole heart even though she is struggling to forgive herself for her past mistakes. Every character in this story will draw you in as you walk with them. Although the series is written for young adults women of all ages will be encouraged by reading this series.

    My New Favourite Series

Heart of the Crown is definitely my favourite of the series. This book follows Lady Wenderley as she travels to Hodenia where she ends up staying to help look after young Prince Ryan after his mother dies. The redemption arc of this story is such a needed message. I loved the reminder that God forgives us and we need to live as if we are forgiven, not living in guilt and shame. This is another one where I laughed, cried a lot and fell a little in love with Prince Marcos. The thing that I liked most about this series was the Christian message. It is a more overt message than many other Christian books but it is seamlessly integrated into the story. The message in each book is one that is relevant to all ages and hopefully, reading it in a story will help this message be heard and understood by more.
