Beautiful padded board book with a glittery cover. Beautiful, engaging illustrations. Each double page has a name of God eg Healer, the Hebrew equivalent eg Jehovah Rapha, a corresponding bible verse and a little blurb, eg the story of how God healed Naaman. Not too wordy but still gets the message across to very young children. It goes through Old and New Testament names.

This book is a great sized board book with nice firm cover, pretty illustrations and glitter, which made my young children instantly attracted. The book goes through 12 names of God, in chronological order through the bible. each page has the name of God and the Hebrew title if applicable, eg. The Lord will provide, Jehovah Jireh, or Teacher, Rabbi. Then it has a verse from the bible linking to the name, and a very simple story to go with it. Then there is a prayer that links to the story. For example: SAVIOR. """"Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. """" Titus 1:4. Jesus died on the cross, but on the third day, He rose again! The tomb was empty. He isn't here, the angels said. He has risen! - from Luke 23-24. """"Jesus paid for our sins and makes us new! Thank you, God, for Jesus, our Saviour. Amen. """"\\nI was impressed with the quality of this book, and highly recommend it for children between 1-4. Older than that I would suggest you get I Am: Bible stories devotions and prayers about the names of God, by the same author and illustrator. A lovely introduction for young children to start learning about who God is.
