A well presented book, however it wasn't suitable for the book club I intended to share it with. I agree with a reviewer on another site who wrote: 'It contains some amazing episodes, but after a while Josiah's writings were hard to read . . . too repetitive and sometimes weird. I also have theological doubts about some of his answers. '

Pure and unfiltered
One of best biography book I've ever read. The journey, God's revelation in Jojo is so fresh, pure and unfiltered from human's perceptions. I learnt so much from this revelation & help me to align myself back to God, surrender more & be simple again/letting go of the world process. \\n\\nI also learn to appreciate people's journeys, no matter what conditions they are at, God is always working behind the scenes.

Insightful & beautiful!
A beautiful testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness. A true story that reveals many challenges and struggles yet you see God's love and hand upon Josiah and his parents. After my nephew was diagnosed with autism, l bought this book, which gave me an insight on the world of children with autism. It inspired me, encouraged me and spoke to me even at times when l felt discouraged & uncertain. A beautiful book that l highly recommend all to read.

Fascinating but too long.
The first half of the book is very fascinating, encouraging and eye-opening. It follows the story of a couple who have a young son with autism. It is written from the mother's perspective. If the book finished halfway through I would give it a 4. The second half includes many of the boys 'words' which often don't make sense. It would be a concern if people took his words as 'gospel. ' With that aside, the book is a reminder that God can use ALL people and each one of us has a purpose.
