**Lasting Ever: Leaning on God Throughout Life's Ups and Downs**
*What does it look like to lean on God throughout the ups and downs of life? In Lasting Ever, Rebecca St. James and Cubbie Fink inspire us to live with courage, faith, and love—knowing that God is always with us on the journey.*
Through authentic storytelling and hard-won wisdom, Rebecca and Cubbie illuminate the heartaches and triumphs that have shaped their story as a married couple, as parents, as musicians, and—most of all—as Jesus followers. Our awareness of God’s faithfulness in our own lives will deepen as we:
- Realize our expectations can bring both joy and reliance - Understand our strength is found in turning to God in our weakness - See how God works even in our loneliness, burnout, or insecurity - Live boldly by sharing our dependence on God’s goodness
Through honest, and often humorous, conversations about singlehood, marriage, the purity movement, and life in the spotlight, *Lasting Ever* offers hope to all of us who face challenges but long to embrace life with a heart attuned to God’s grace.

I first heard Rebecca St James songs and read her books at 14, and it was fascinating to me that I actually married my husband the same year she married hers. All these years later its been wonderful to read the story behind her life, especially after watching the movie Unsung Hero last year.
Lasting Ever details Rebecca and Cubbie's separate personal journeys and experiences, strikingly similar and yet different. It was full of raw heart stories and how God led them step by step into healing, and it even touched on prophetic dreams they’d had that were both inspiring and helpful to me in understanding the season that I find myself in, and helped me offer some thoughts on a prophetic dream a friend shared with me while I was reading the book. And rather than finishing the book at the wedding they walked the reader through their real struggles and winter that came to their souls and finally into spring, of little shoots of life and promise finally breaking through the snow and the stewarding of those to fruitfulness.
