    Highly recommend

The Message version of the Bible gets straight to the point, it is easy to understand and at times it can be hard hitting. Eugene's style isn't much changed in this series of letters but there is also a real vulnerability behind each one as he openly and honestly unpacks his experience in ministry. As I journeyed through each letter my admiration for Eugene grew immensely, I was greatly touched by the admiration Eugene has for his son, shown by how many times he mentions that he sees he is doing a good job. This book would be a great gift for anyone in ministry but especially pastors. It contains loads of encouragement and many gems of truth.
