A spiritual battle rages for the lives of our young men.

Scripture warns that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and that's exactly what we are seeing with our young men. Yet history is replete with seemingly helpless battles turned by determined and courageous leaders.

McGarvie's new book Lost Boys uses her military background and extensive research to illuminate the current cultural situation and offer a God-led plan of counterattack, laying out the Sword of truth in response to the rampage of:

- suicide,
- depression and anxiety,
- porn addiction,
- fatherlessness, and
- the feminisation of our young men.

This book is not light reading, by any means, but it brings truth and focus to many of the issues destroying far too many promising young lives today.

It is a robust call to adventurous discipleship, and a rally call to take up our weapons of warfare and fight for our young men. Will you join us?

    Lost Boys

So well written! Easy to read yet challenging! A wake up call for all of us - parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles and ""other significant adults"" in the lives of young people. This book helps us to become aware of the strategies in place to take out our young men, to stand against them and teach our young men to do the same. I wish I'd read it earlier!

    Profound and essential read

Exceptionally well-written. I devoured 60% of the book in one sitting and finished it within a week. Cindy has perfectly addressed an issue so close to my heart. My desire is to witness a revival, an awakening, and a revolution among the men of Australia and beyond, to truly embrace their roles, take dominion, rule and reign with Christ Jesus. We need our boys, young men, and old men to come home. May the spirit of the Most High God be poured out upon the young and old alike. Let them dream dreams and see visions. Forge forth!

Well written and fuels the flame of our true calling

I don’t read many books to the end but this one got me. Loved the way it ended with a call to not fear and be well trained for battle. Will recommend to my mates, and encourage my son to read. Well done.

    A page-turner for all.

I avoid all things military which isn't necessarily a good thing, as this book points out from the scriptures. We need to stop the inroads that Satan is making in our culture and the church. Everyone should read this book and it is a plus that the author is Australian, so we don't dismiss the alarm, thinking it applies elsewhere.

Every father - a must read

This is an enlightening work on today's battlefield for our children. It's definitely worthwhile to give time to read this book. Informative and challenging.
