    Worthwhile

It sounds like the longer version of Mary Slessor's life is quite confronting, so this version is just right. The horrible practices that Mary fought against are appropriately dealt with lightly as kids should not be burdened with them. Instead, the bright illustrations and positive message hopefully will encourage children to aspire to a life of service to others.
