NIV Pew and Worship Bible Black (Black Letter Edition)

Pew Bibles may not be as colourful as many other compact Bibles, nor have as many flourishes inside or out, but I swear by mine, especially during my devotions where I don't want any extra 'help' with study notes or commentary or illustrations or anything else but the plain word.

I love this little Bible. It's good for its purpose and very hardy - because it's so plain and sturdy and inexpensive, I feel comfortable stuffing it in my car or bag or otherwise taking it with me and going through it, not worrying too much if the pages get smudged or dog-eared or spilled on and not worrying that the spine will end up coming out or something.

Great font size for a Bible of its size too - neither tiny nor large-print, which for people who don't need it can be hard on the eyes too.

Good o' pew Bibles. They aren't just for churches.
