I gave 5 stars because this Bible fulfills what it sets out in it's purpose. That is to train and support believer's in their desire to learn about and do evangelism. It is not the typical Study Bible covering all topics expected. It's focus is evangelism. I use it in conjunction with the Ray Comfort's School of Biblical Evangelism. If you want to learn to be effective in evangelism, this Study Bible, combined with the School of Biblical Evangelism is for you.

Good quality, but lacking
Overall, I like this bible for reading, but not as a study bible. The """"New Spirit Filled Life Bible"""" by Jack Hayford is a better study bible. \\r\\nPOSITIVES. \\r\\n\\r\\n- The Bible looks and feels great! It's the best quality bible I've ever owned!\\r\\n- Words are easy to read due to good font size and clear layout. \\r\\n- Quotes are pretty solid. Names like DL Moody, Oswald J. Smith, Spurgeon, etc. \\r\\n\\r\\nNEGATIVES:\\r\\n- Quotes are nearly all about evangelism. I would have preferred some quotes on other topics. \\r\\n- Quotes appear in line with the text in between paragraphs. I get annoyed when I have to skim past an unrelated quote half way through a chapter. They should be below the text, so you can read the word without distraction. \\r\\n- Commentary below the text is very minimal compared to other study bibles, and clearly evangelism and apologetic focused. \\r\\n- There are no introductions to books of the Bible. My last study bible explained author, why it was written, to whom it was written, what can we learn from it, etc. It is very valuable to have those details.

The New Evidence Bible
The Bible cover has a great feel to it. There is more stuff inside, such as Springboards for preaching which was 14 of them in the KJV and now I believe 42 in the NKJV. \\r\\nIt has a few 'marginal references', but I would have preffered a lot more - like a cross-reference Bible would have. \\r\\nSo far I have spotted 1 or 2 spelling mistakes in things like the notes. Maybe they will rectify that. Ie. A reference is made to the 'Rusty Harp' Pslam 7:11, but actually you won't find the 'Springboard for preaching' illustration until Pslam 37. 11 so they missed the '3' on that one. \\r\\nSo the best part is the chunky size and nice feel of the Bible and the Words of Jesus in red, and the extra stuff iside. And by the way, as expected, much of the Kent Hovind stuff has been removed.
