Old Testament (Ivp Bible Background Commentary Series)$59.99
This is a very scholarly commentary, not like many others. John Walton is and amazing teacher and there is much to learn here. Perfect for students and teachers of the bible and history as this commentary follows the historical approach. The cover is hardback black cardboard with a sleeve jacket and looks very nice. The only downside that can be annoying is that the book does not stay open by its self as its glue bound. Overall a great book for studies.

Outstanding background
Brilliant and scholarly work on a wide range of Near Eastern cultures and customs. Best read in conjunction with a more theological commentary to round out your learning.
