Sir Kendrick is the first book in the Knights of Arrethtrae series. I loved this book although there were a few sad parts it was very inspiring. I would recommend this book to children above the age of eight.

A must read
I am 15 and I loved this book! There are short studies for each chapter at the back of the book and they're very interesting. This book has a great message about rebellion and forgiveness. It has strengthed my faith and taught me a lot of good morals. I recommend this book very highly.

Highly Recomended
I started this series after two friends had raved about how much their children were enjoying them. And I've been very impressed. Chuck Black writes beautifully. He has excellent character development, captivating stories, and also weaves spiritual truths right throughout the books to get the reader thinking. They're aimed at young adults, but we've been reading them aloud as a family to our 7-12 year old children, and sometimes the 5 year old even listens in, and they all love it. My 10 year old son, who doesn't like reading much himself, is often the one begging me to read more of 'the knight books. """" \\r\\nSir Kendrick is the first of this series, and is a tale of courage and loyalty to the Prince.

amazing
a portrayal of the battles going on inside and around us all the time. The Knights of Arrethtrae series sort of showed me what I was up against in a way I could see, and almost feel. A great read is behind each cover!

A Great Book
""""Sir Kendrick and the Castle of Bel Lione"""", by Chuck Black, is one of the best books I have ever read. It tell about a knight, whose name is Sir Kendrick, who is mentoring another knight named Sir Duncan. They are loyal to the King and his son. It tells of how they are assigned to go on a mission to find a Vincero Knight whose mind is set on evil. It tells of how they go to a castle and how Sir Duncan ends up in trouble. It tells how Sir Kendrick tries to find a man to save Sir Duncan, but finds himself locked in a deadly duel!\\r\\n\\r\\nI recommend this book to people who love adventure, medieval knights and castles, small skirmishes and big battles. I also recommend it to those who like allegory as many of the people and events represent Biblical people and happenings. I really think people should read this book because it is so awesome!
