The Blessing

I have been a fan of Kari's music for the last 7 years. Her Majestic album is powerful and moving. It motivates the heart to worship God. The Blessing is even better. Kari describes who God is, his character and his nature. The lyrics make you think of God and helps you to see the fabric of God's persona. The Nature song does exactly that. What is also amazing is how Kari wrote a song about faith and the gospel. Amen (Simple Gospel) is a song that helps me to see that the message of God's word regarding salvation is simple without the theological complexities. \\nIt's a great CD to listen to alone in your car or lounge and just allow yourself to focus on Christ. \\nEnjoy this CD and worship God for who he is. \\n

If you like Jobe's crescendo-style of worship where she starts off soft before cresting into a bombastic chorus making way into a bridge with lots of instrumental punctuation, you will love this record. Every now and then I read a book which I think will change my life - this one definitely will! This is not a short book, but I managed to read it in two days, somewhat of a record for me. \\r\\n\\r\\nI have felt for some time that there is power in blessing our children, and have felt led to write down some of the blessings contained in the Bible, so I was drawn to the title of this book.
