This book gives a wealth of practical strategies on dealing with out-of-control busyness. Even more importantly, Chester delves into the heart issues that lie beneath excessive busyness and presents a refreshing biblical perspective that will be sure to help all Christians.

One of the better titles addressing this matter
I haven't finished this book yet (you know, being busy and all. . . . . joke). I'm accustomed to pragmatic helps for time management, but this book revealed that such things are just drivers of efficiency. In the end, we still end up being as busy as before, just better able to juggle more things in the same time. If the quality of the works doesn't suffer, our being, relationships and spiritual growth will. Getting to the root of busyness itself and spending entire chapters addressing excuses, I have found that this book (along with Crazy Busy by Deyoung) have been instrumental in liberating me from the trap of works. Informative, historically honouring, culturally perceptive, and theologically ground, I feel at a loss to have not even heard of this author until now.
