The Corrie Ten Boom Story (Torchlighters Heroes Of The Faith Series)

I've read about Corrie Ten Boom's incredible story before, but watching this movie really brought her journey to life. I've watched it 4 times and I never get tired of it because it's just so inspirational and incredible. Knowing what people like Corrie went through and how they prevailed is very encouraging and eye opening. I highly recommend!

I had heard of Corrie Ten Boom before but really knew nothing about her and while watching this DVD with my 6 year old son I learnt so much and was greatly inspired and gained a greater understanding of the struggles faced by Christians and Jews during the war and was inspired and challenged by Corrie and her sisters ability to be greatful and forgiving in the face of such horrific situations. Since watching it when every I find something difficult I remember how even the fleas had a purpose and it helps me to be more grateful. \\r\\n\\r\\nThis DVD is great for children aged 8-12 and even younger and would be great for use at home or in a School or Sunday School. \\r\\n\\r\\nI use it as a part of my sons home schooling and Christian education.

Wow, what a powerful story! Corrie Ten Boom was faced with war, death, imprisonment and the need to stay strong in the storm. Our children have really enjoyed these Torchlighter DVD's, and Corrie Ten Boom especially is a special story for them to witness, especially to see the forgiveness Corrie is called to extend to her persecutors. Great for children under 10 in our experience. The documentaries at the end are great for older childrenadults who want to know more about the person.
