    Exciting and Engaging

The first of the Door Within Trilogy, this book was (and is) one that captured my imagination, as well as truly impressed me. The book is well written, and the plot and characters well developed and intriguing. I remember I borrowed this from a friend when I was twelve, finished it in a day, and then impatiently waited till I could borrow the next one. And even as an adult, I am captivated by the world Wayne Thomas Batson created. This is one I still recommend to my friends, acquaintances, and random people on the train.

    Fantastic

""""The Door Within"""" is the first book in the Door Within Trilogy. Three scrolls introduce Aidan to another world full of mystery, betrayal and a king. Will Aiden survive the tasks he has to endure and the days of gruelling training to become a knight? And as he learns about the King Eliam, will he have the courage to risk everything for him? This book is entrancing. Great for kids 8-16. A fantastic adventure.
