One of the greatest crimes of this generation of Christians is its neglect of the gospel, and it is from this neglect that all our other maladies spring forth. Absent from too many pulpits are the essential themes which make up the very core of the gospel - the justice of God, the radical depravity of man, the blood atonement. In *The Gospel's Power and Message*, Paul Washer addresses these essential elements of Christ's good news and provides a guide to help us rediscover the gospel in all its beauty, scandal, and saving power. May such a rediscovery transform your life, strengthen your proclamation, and bring the greatest glory to God.

The Gospel's Power and Message (#01 in Recovering The Gospel Series)$32.99
Believe Paul Washer had really addressed some core issues modern day Christians face. We know the gospel, we say we understand its power, yet so limited. Not NEW or FRESH view of the gospel but draws us to return to the gospel once again.

Best book on the Gospel
As an evangelist, I've read many of the books on the Gospel out there, but Paul manages to: ---Cover a lot of ground that few are courageous enough to, or aware of\\r\\n---Excite through the greater understanding you will receive on just how magnificent and important Jesus' work on the Cross is, and why He had to die, and,\\r\\n---Give a very well-rounded and full presentation of the Gospel. === While most focus on the benefits of coming to God, Paul is able to articulate why in fact the Gospel is something to be ashamed of, something offensive, and something counter-cultural - and that these aspects are crucial and help us get back the power of the Gospel. \\r\\n=== What Paul has to say might offend some, but all the references are there from the Bible, and he also draws from greats of the past such as the Puritans, Spurgeon or Luther. He has also lived it out in his long years of missionary work. \\r\\n=== If you think you knew the Gospel, be prepared to do some re-reading of the Bible and examination of your message.
